European Association of Echocardiography (EAE)
The
European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) is one of the
first ESC Associations and was officially launched in December
2003. The Association was created from the now dissolved ESC
Working Group on Echocardiography.
The Mission of the European Association of
Echocardiography is:
"To promote excellence in clinical
diagnosis, research, technical development, and education
in cardiovascular ultrasound in Europe."
EAE was the first association
to initiate accreditation examinations. Today, there are three
(3) different examinations available:
Accreditation
in Congenital Heart Disease Echocardiography
Accreditation
in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
Accreditation
in Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
