European Association of Echocardiography (EAE)

The European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) is one of the first ESC Associations and was officially launched in December 2003. The Association was created from the now dissolved ESC Working Group on Echocardiography.

The Mission of the European Association of Echocardiography is:
"To promote excellence in clinical diagnosis, research, technical development, and education in cardiovascular ultrasound in Europe."

European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA)

The mission of EHRA is "To improve the quality of life of the European population by reducing the impact of cardiac arrhythmias".

The European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) is an association specialising in electrophysiology and was created from the merger of two former Working Groups on 'Cardiac Pacing' and 'Arrhythmias'.
Its ambition is to serve as the leading organisation in the field of arrhythmias and electrophysiology in Europe, and to attract all physicians from Europe and beyond to foster the development of this area of expertise.

EAPCI (European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions)

The ESC Working Group on Interventional Cardiology aims to promote Interventional Cardiology in Europe through the development of education and training, control of the accreditation process, as well as the stimulation of research.

ESC Working Group 5 - Nuclear Cardiology

The ESC Working Group on Nuclear Cardiology (WG5) aims to promote research, teaching and clinical activity, as well as advising the ESC Board on matters relating to Nuclear Cardiology. The Working Group contributes to the organisation of the annual ESC Congress and arranges Study Groups that publish appropriate guidelines and recommendations. The WG5 also designs, coordinates and assists appropriate multi-centre research trials and regularly keeps its members updated of the group's activities.
