European Core Curriculum
EBSC also fulfils its advisory
role in contributing to the development of the European Core
Curriculum along with the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
At subspecialty level, the EBSC plays
an active role in the development of subspecialty core curricula,
both through recommendations and advices. A dedicated meeting
with medical education specialists was organised by the Coordination
Task Force in Munich in 2004.
EBSC keeps with its
long term goal, which is to harmonise standards of education
and training in general cardiology, as well as in the
subspecialties of cardiology in Europe.
